Since 1978, they have imported unique gifts and Italian jewellery when Maria and Giovanni Antonaglia OAM opened their first store, Maria’s Fine Gifts & Jewellery in Brisbane, a store still in operation today. From these humble beginnings saw the launch of Crown Family Jewellers in Indooroopilly, Westfield Chermside, Aspley amd Westfield Carindale soon following suit, as did the growth of their family. Family is part of their company culture and with that daughters, Angela, Luisa and Francesca, joined the company. Each securing their own credentials in commerce, business management, gemmology and arts, which was coupled with hardworking ethics, unsurpassed quality and exceptional customer service. Proudly their reputation was reaffirmed when awarded Australian Jeweller Retailer of the Year (2011) and with Francesca being titled Vice President of the Jewellers Association of Australia.
